PostPilot is a Chrome extension that helps users write LinkedIn content including posts, comments, direct messages, and profile sections using AI assistance.
Content you provide: When you use PostPilot, the text prompts you enter (topics, descriptions, tone preferences) are sent to our server to generate AI-powered content. This data is processed in real-time and is not stored after the response is delivered.
Voice profile: If you set up a writing voice profile (topics, style, sample text), this is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. It is not sent to our servers unless you generate content, at which point it is included in the prompt to personalize the output.
Usage data: We track the number of generations per day locally in your browser to enforce free tier limits. This count resets daily and is not sent to our servers.
Subscription data: If you upgrade to Pro, your email address is processed through Stripe for payment. We verify your subscription status by checking your email against Stripe's records. We do not store your payment information.

PostPilot reads limited information from the LinkedIn page you are viewing (such as page type and any text you have selected) to provide contextual AI assistance. This information is processed locally in your browser and is only sent to our server when you explicitly click a generate button.
AI Processing: Your prompts are sent to our backend server (replywell.ai) which uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate content. Prompts are processed in real-time and are not stored by us or Anthropic beyond the immediate request.
Payments: Subscription payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing.
All extension settings (voice profile, usage count, Pro status) are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage API. No personal data is stored on our servers.
You can delete all PostPilot data at any time by uninstalling the extension. You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time by contacting us.
